Work you'll do
As a UI Developer, you will contribute to the development, and implementation of accessible, user-friendly sites and programs.
Candidates must be passionate about technology, demonstrate strong troubleshooting capability, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Day to day job responsibilities may include:
Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, quality assurance engineers and clients to develop a user interface that meets user and business needs
Monitor the progress and status of tasks and deliverables on projects and escalate issues and risks in a timely manner
Identify and troubleshoot UI / UX problems
The ideal candidate will have a solution-focused mindset, and the ability to collaborate as a team with design teams and product leaders while also contributing independently.
They will be detail oriented, possess strong listening skills, and can clearly communicate technical concepts, ideas, and analysis with other team members.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a UI developer
End to end development experience in ReactJ / Angular at enterprise scale
Experience with front-end tools such as Javascript frameworks, CSS, HTML
Prior experience modernizing / re-architecting legacy UI to ReactJS / Angular
Experience building responsive user interfaces for disparate form factors
Knowledge of MVC frameworks, modern UI design principles
UI Integration experience with backend APIs and API gateway
Understanding of Agile / Scrum delivery methodologies
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Ability to travel up to 10% based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Java and Spring boot technologies
Understanding of design principles
Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
A reasonable estimate of the current range is $68,871 to $114,784.
