*Delivery Driver Job Description*
The Delivery Ambassador is responsible for representing Edible® by maintaining a professional image at all times while providing excellent Guest Service.
The Delivery Driver is also responsible for delivering Edible® products accurately, in a timely manner, and with the highest level of Guest Service in order to make Edible® our Guests’ first choice in gift giving.
In order to achieve this goal, our Delivery Drivers are responsible for working well within the team and in providing excellent service to our Guests.
*Summary of Key Responsibilities*
* Accurately delivers Edible® products in an efficient, courteous, and timely manner
* Gathers and organizes delivery tickets by area
* Routes and logs tickets in the computer system and organizes most efficient routes
* Loads product in the delivery vehicle
* Assists with food production tasks and other duties as needed
* Maintains clean and safe vehicles
* Responsible for vehicle maintenance and care: oil changes, tire rotations, cleanliness inside and out, etc.
* Safe operation of delivery vehicles: obey all speed limits and rules of the road, wear seat belt, no texting while driving, don’t talk on phone while driving, etc.
*Qualifications and Skills Required*
* High school graduate or equivalent
* Current, valid driver’s license with clean driving record
* Ability to follow mapping directions and arrive at locations timely
* Demonstrate professional, clean and neat appearance
* Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
* Positive attitude, friendly, and upbeat personality
* Good interpersonal skills, including professionalism in dealing with team members, the public and customers
* Computer skills including Microsoft software and Edible Go delivery app
* Enjoys working within a team
* Positive attitude
* Holiday availability is required (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Father’s Day, Easter)
